Translations for Europe

Translations for Europe was launched by the team behind Certified Translations, a Belgium-based company offering sworn and certified document translations across Europe. To expand into the U.S. market, the client needed a new brand that would resonate with American audiences while clearly communicating the legal validity of European-certified translations, something often misunderstood due to differing standards between the U.S. and Europe.

In response, I developed a complete brand identity, including a logo, colour palette, graphics system, and custom icons. I also designed a new website that feels approachable and trustworthy, with clear messaging and user flows tailored to help American clients confidently navigate the process of ordering legally recognized translations for use abroad.

The new brand and website have been warmly received by the client and positioned Translations for Europe to connect with a niche U.S. audience, helping demystify sworn European translations and build trust with potential customers.

Visual Language & Graphics

The visual identity is designed to feel professional, approachable, and modern, and instantly conveys trust while simplifying what can be an overwhelming process.

A clean mix of serif and sans serif typography balances tradition with clarity, while soft neutrals and pops of colour add warmth and energy.

The signature paper airplane motif, inspired by speed, ease, and guidance, appears throughout the brand to symbolize motion, connection, and the smooth navigation of complex systems. While layered compositions subtly echo the look of multi-page documents.

Website Redesign

The website was designed to make a complex process feel simple, trustworthy, and intuitive for American users unfamiliar with European translation requirements. Clear navigation, approachable language, and a calming visual flow guides users through each step, whether they need an instant quote, want to understand sworn translations, or are navigating legalizations.
